Silicone-Free Hair Mask OEM: What Changes in the Sample Brief?
Write a silicone-free mask brief around slip, rinse feel and customer expectations. Confirm the complete formula before using ingredient-exclusion claims.

JunChun Beauty Editorial Team · 16 October 2026
A silicone-free hair mask needs a complete conditioning brief, not just an ingredient exclusion. State the detangling, rinse and dry-finish priorities, then confirm the full formula before putting “silicone-free” on the label.
Ask why the buyer wants the exclusion
Some brands have an established ingredient policy; others are responding to customer requests or seeking a different after-feel. These are useful commercial reasons to discuss a formula. They do not prove that every silicone-containing mask performs badly or that an exclusion guarantees a lighter result.
Tell the formulation team whether the policy is essential and what current product the customer likes. “Silicone-free, rich and weightless for everyone” leaves several competing goals unresolved. Rank the most important job: wet combing, controlled dry feel, or a particular texture presentation.
Describe the conditioning system without prescribing a shortcut
A formulator can review conditioning agents, fatty materials, polymers and the rest of the emulsion as a whole. A substitute is not automatically a one-for-one replacement. Ask for the closest suitable mature formula and identify which sensory tradeoffs need a sample decision.
Keep a useful comparator
If the buyer has no mandatory exclusion policy, compare an appropriate silicone-free direction with the current reference product. If the policy is fixed, compare two eligible directions instead. Use the same intended hair, shampoo and rinse routine. Judge both detangling during use and the dry finish before styling products conceal the difference.
Record a simple purchase conclusion: meets the target, needs a lighter finish, or lacks the desired manageability. Do not decide only by how thick the cream appears in a clear sample pot.
Read a real ingredient list rather than a texture photograph
Fable & Mane’s official mask page, checked 16 October 2026, provides a full ingredient list and rinse-out directions. It illustrates the documentation a buyer should request. Its formula is not a specification for JunChun.
The supplied JUXSKENB Butter Hair Mask image is a packaging presentation. It does not establish that the proposed formula is silicone-free. Keep that claim off the product label and listing until the actual selected formula, including compound raw materials, has been reviewed.
Packaging does not resolve an ingredient policy
The 300 ml jar direction can be discussed separately from formula eligibility. A label, silver lid or whipped cream visual does not prove composition, natural-origin percentage or a certification. Confirm the final pack’s compatibility with the selected formula and the actual component route.
For a small initial order, ask whether a suitable mature formula already meets the policy. A fully new formula may change the development scope and minimum; do not assume the 100-piece route includes every exclusion request and custom pack.
Put the right decision in the purchase order
Identify the approved sample, complete ingredient declaration, target market, claims and packaging specification. Keep any subsequent formula change under review before reusing the label. JunChun’s OEM/ODM discussion should connect the customer’s ingredient policy to a usable product rather than treating a free-from phrase as the product’s entire value.
Frequently asked questions
Is the pictured JUXSKENB mask confirmed silicone-free?
No. The supplied packaging image does not establish its complete formula or any ingredient-exclusion claim.
Does silicone-free mean lighter?
Not necessarily. The whole formula and application determine the actual feel; compare suitable samples.
Can we use the claim before receiving INCI?
Do not approve it from the image or product name. Review the complete selected formula and relevant raw-material information.
Will a new exclusion request qualify for 100 pieces?
Only if an eligible mature formula and stock package meet the brief. A new development or component can require another route.
