Lamellar Rinse or Gloss Serum? Avoid the Wrong OEM Formula Brief
Separate rinse-out lamellar care from leave-in gloss serum in an OEM brief. Match the customer problem, formula role, fill and dispenser before sampling.

JunChun Beauty Editorial Team · 15 October 2026
Choose a lamellar rinse brief for an approved wash-day rinse-out step; choose a gloss serum brief for a leave-in finishing routine. Both can pursue a polished appearance, but they are different product roles. State the intended use before selecting formula, size, nozzle or pump so the OEM quotation covers the product you actually need.
Why “gloss” is an incomplete purchase specification
A buyer may send a reference photo of shiny hair and receive very different proposals: liquid rinse, cream mask, serum or mist. The image shows an intended appearance, but does not tell the manufacturer whether the customer rinses the product out or leaves it in.
L’Oréal Paris’s established Wonder Water page provides a liquid rinse-out reference. Official page, checked 15 October 2026. Its application timing and results are not specifications for a different formula.
Route one: a controlled rinse-out step
Use this brief when the brand wants a separate washing-routine product for lengths. Specify the target hair and the desired balance of wet slip, rinse feel and dry finish. Agree on whether it sits beside a conditioner or replaces a step in the approved routine.
The supplied JUXSKENB presentation is a 200 ml nozzle bottle. It suggests a controlled-flow retail format to review with the selected formula. Confirm the actual flow, closure and use instructions together; the artwork does not establish INCI or a timed result.
Route two: leave-in finishing
Use a serum brief when the customer applies a small amount during finishing or styling according to the approved directions. Specify the desired slip, shine and after-feel. A formula can feel very different depending on dose and hair profile, so a request for “non-greasy gloss” needs a practical reference.
A 100 ml leave-in gloss-serum format serves a separate finishing role. Use that distinction to make the requested formula and routine clear.
Match the commercial offer to the routine
Customer and use occasion
State whether the buyer serves fine hair that dislikes coating, processed lengths needing easier combing or a styling audience seeking a finishing touch. Choose the principal occasion before combining several benefits into the name.
Sample and pack
Request the formula in a representative dispenser. A nozzle is a possible route for a low-viscosity rinse; a compatible serum pump supports a different application. Neither pack alone proves the product’s function. Identify the net fill and component in the quotation.
Range and minimums
JunChun’s existing professional lamellar route has a listed 500-unit minimum. An eligible mature retail-formula and stock-pack combination may have a different route from 100 pieces per SKU; request confirmation for the actual product. Packaging changes are reviewed from 500 pieces, with supplier and process requirements applied.
Ask JunChun for one clearly defined proposal
Send market, channel, rinse-out or leave-in use, target hair, texture reference, desired size and quantity. JunChun can review formulation, sample, packaging and export-project scope together. Start with one clear routine, then add a companion only when it serves a different customer job.
Frequently asked questions
Does the word gloss identify the formula type?
No. Specify rinse-out liquid, mask, leave-in serum or another actual format.
Can the same directions be used for a rinse and serum?
No. Directions must match the selected formula and intended use.
Is the supplied 200 ml image proof of stock availability?
No. Confirm the bottle, closure and filled-pack compatibility against the quotation.
What prevents a misleading price comparison?
Match formula version, role, fill, component, decoration, quantity and shipping basis across the offers.
